The quick release mount is a great feature that I use all the time. The only caveat is that it is made out of plastic so I do have a question about its durability that can only be answered in time.

Individual head tension and lock knobs as well as a pan lock make it easy to get the right adjustment.

The legs extend easily and lock securely into position. It's sturdy and it's stable.

I have found this to be a good medium duty tripod/monopod combo that punches beyond its price.


UPDATE: Having used the tripod for several months I am now happy that the plastic quick release is durable and fully expect it to last as long as the rest of the tripod.
