This is a quick look at my small Hitachi angle grinder that has served me well for a lot of years. I'm not exactly sure how old it is but it is certainly over 15 years old and may be over 20. It has been looked after and it has been used by a hobbiest (as opposed to an industrial shop) but I think that length of time is good going. I put it down to the quality of construction back then. Metal gears instead of plastic is one of the main things I credit with the longevity.

This video mainly deals with a minor repair/maintenance job, replacing the brushes.
